Terms of Service
The service
InkConsent lets a studio record client identity checks, health screening, informed consent, signatures and aftercare. It is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide medical or legal advice, and it does not decide whether a procedure should go ahead: those decisions stay with the studio and its artists.
Your responsibilities
- The consent text and screening questions you publish are yours. You are responsible for their content and for their meeting the law where you operate.
- You are the controller of your clients' personal data and must have a lawful basis for collecting it, and must tell clients how it is used (see the Privacy Policy).
- Keep staff accounts to people who work for you, and remove access when they leave.
- Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.
- Don't use the service unlawfully, or to store anything unrelated to your studio's clients and procedures.
Plans and payment
The free plan holds a limited number of client records. InkConsent Pro is a subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store, billed monthly or yearly, and renews automatically until cancelled. You cancel, and manage billing and refunds, through the store you subscribed with, under that store's terms. If a subscription lapses, existing records remain available; the free plan's limit applies to new ones.
Your data
You own your studio's records. We process them only to provide the service, as set out in the Privacy Policy. You can ask for an export of your records, and for their deletion when you close your account, subject to any legal duty to retain consent records.
Availability
We work to keep InkConsent available and your records safe, including encrypted backups, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. Keep your own copies of any records you are legally required to hold, which InkConsent lets you download as PDFs.
Liability
[Limitation of liability, warranty disclaimer, indemnity and governing law to be drafted by counsel for the jurisdictions you operate in.]
Ending
You can stop using InkConsent at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why where we lawfully can.
Changes
We will post changes here and notify studio owners by email before material changes take effect.
